<p>The packing (5) is aerated by lifting it above the water surface (13). The packing is raised and lowered pneumatically. It is raised and lowered by a float (9) into which air is blown, or which is flooded. In a particular implementation, the main body (3), constructed as a float, is surrounded by a closed wall and has a height-adjustment system, raising and lowering it. Aerators (8) are located below it. The height adjuster is pneumatic and includes a variable float. The packing largely covers the water area. Chains limit lifting, and position the unit.</p> |
