The method uses a computer system for storage of data relating to a business event (301,302,303) in conjunction with an assigned identification code, so that it is accessible via a business application (309,310,311). An input data set is provided from the business data with a data structure dependent on the business event class and transformed into an output data set configured to be accessible to at least 2 business applications, before storage together with the identification code.
