PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire improvement of stability and controllability on a snow road, while securing excellent stability and controllability on a dry road. SOLUTION: A rubber layer 6 having JIS hardness 40 to 50 and thickness t≤2mm is arranged on a groove wall surface 2b located in a lower region 2X of 30 to 50% of a groove depth d from a groove bottom 2a of a peripheral direction groove 2 extended in a tire peripheral direction T on a tread surface 1.
