TRAVEL TIME INFORMATION PROVIDING METHOD, SYSTEM, AND PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide to a user, a travel time to the destination and information based on a fluctuation range of the travel time by calculating accurately the fluctuation range of the travel time to the destination. SOLUTION: A course travel time T of a course is calculated by using each vehicle travel time data Ti(k) (i shows a road section and k shows a vehicle) measured in each road section unit constituting the course to the destination, and a variance V(T) is calculated by using a covariance Cov(Ti, Tj) of each section travel time pair constituting the course.
