PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a head-up display which can increase the degree of freedom of design of an optical unit. SOLUTION: The optical unit 10 comprises a display unit part 10a and a light guide part 10b. The display unit part 10a projects and images video information generated by a light source 20 and a display unit 30 as a real image on an imaging member 50 of the light guide part 10b through a lens 40. The light guide part 10b is so constituted that a reflecting mirror 60 reflects video information of the real image projected and formed on the imaging member 50 toward a reflecting mirror 70 and further the reflecting mirror 70 reflects the video information reflected by the reflecting mirror 60 toward a windshield. The video information which is thus reflected by the reflecting mirror 70 is reflected by the windshield toward the viewpoint of a driver and displayed visibly as a virtual image by the windshield from the viewpoint of the driver.
