PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display a menu screen such as small window display or half-transparent superimpose display while title reproduction is continued, for example, during title reproduction on an optical disk or the like. SOLUTION: On the information recording medium, serial contents information, menu information displayed together with the contents information during reproduction thereof, and play list information for defining the reproduction sequence of the contents information in the units of items which constitutes the contents information and can be accessed during the reproduction are recorded. The play list information includes item information indicating each item constituting the contents information and slave item information indicating the menu information corresponding to each item as a slave item.
