The plug socket element (20,20') has an external fixing thread allowing it to be secured to a mounting plate (10), the fixing thread beginning with a partial section which is separated by a break from a subsequent section, allowing the socket element to be secured by a partial rotation through less than 360 degrees, with simultaneous sealing against the mounting plate. An Independent claim for a plug socket system is also included.
