<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power transmission device for a hybrid motorcycle capable of performing an engine start, an assist and a battery charging using a small-type rotating electric machine. <P>SOLUTION: The power transmission device consists of a first power transmission part 10A which transmits the rotation of a rotating shaft 2a of the rotating electric machine 2 to a crank shaft 1a of an engine 1 through a reducer 11 and a one-way clutch 12, and a second power transmission part 10B which transmits the rotation of the rotating electric machine 2 to the crank shaft 1a through an electromagnetic clutch 14 and a power transmission mechanism 13 having a smaller reduction ratio than the reducer 11 which are provided between the rotating shaft of the rotating electric machine and the crank shaft of the engine. The electromagnetic clutch 14 is set to be in an OFF state at the time of engine start, and the electromagnetic clutch 14 is set to be in an ON state after the engine start. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
