摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the generation of abnormal images caused by adhesion of foreign substances to a photoreceptor for a long period and to extend the life of the photoreceptor and an image forming device loaded with the photoreceptor.

SOLUTION: Brush fibers 28a formed like loops on the surface of a cleaning brush 28 are brought into linearly contact with the surface of the photoreceptor 9 and a protection layer 9c containing inorganic filler of 3-25wt% to total solid quantity is formed on the outermost surface of the photoreceptor 9. Even when thick and firm brush fibers 28a are used, foreign substances such as remaining toner on the surface of the photoreceptor 9 can be removed without damaging the surface of the photoreceptor 9 and printing resistance can be improved and abrasion resistance can be suitably maintained by the protection layer 9c formed on the outermost surface of the photoreceptor 9.
