<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a security management system for an elevator, convenient for users to use by allowing only specified users to use the elevator. <P>SOLUTION: A server 10 is accessed from a personal digital assistance (PDA) 30 via Internet 40. The server 10, when accessed from specified users, sends control information for the users to use the elevator to the PDA 30. An elevator control device 22 permits the use of the elevator only for a certain time in accordance wit the control information. The use of the elevator with the control information given only to the specified users prevents outsiders having no control information from using it. In this case, no need exists for carrying keys or cards and also for keeping ID numbers or the like in mind, therefore actualizing the security management system convenient for the users to use. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
