PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tool for confirming the characteristic of an infrared camera capable of easily measuring an object projection coordinate error caused in both horizontal and vertical directions of an image. SOLUTION: In the tool for confirming the characteristic of the infrared camera, an aluminum-made rear panel 2 is placed in front of a vehicle 1 with the infrared camera mounted thereon, a front panel 3 made of the aluminum the same as the material of the rear panel 2 on which a plurality of perfect circular holes of the same size are formed at an equal interval is placed in front of the rear panel 2 as a target part. The rear panel 2 is a panel the width in a lateral direction of which is nearly equal to the lateral width of the vehicle and the height in a longitudinal direction of which is nearly equal to the height of the vehicle and placed under supports 4a, 4b. The front panel 3 is provided movably in the vertical direction along the supports 4a, 4b in front of the rear panel 2, and the height of the front panel 3 is movable up to e.g., about twice the height of the rear panel 2 from ground. Further, a temperature regulator is placed behind the rear panel 2 when viewed from the vehicle 1 to heat or cool the entire rear panel 2. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
