<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sulfonated polyimide resin which is excellent in hydrolysis stability and proton conduction properties and gives an electrolytic film enabling the output increase and cost down of a fuel cell. <P>SOLUTION: The hydrolysis stability of a sulfonated polyimide resin is enhanced, without damaging the proton conductivity, by using naphthalene groups as hydrophobic groups. A preferable example of the sulfonated polyimide resin has a base skeleton represented by general formula (6). The electrolytic film, useful as a proton conduction film for a fuel cell, is prepared by forming the sulfonated polyimide resin into a film by an ordinary method. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
