PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital camera in which an erasure button is particularly operated to display an alarm when the operation of the button is validated so as not to perform an erasing operation of image data by mistake. SOLUTION: The digital camera includes a red color light emitting diode 27 near a menu/performance button 16 operated when image data are erased from a built-in memory or a detachable memory medium, and a green light emitting diode 28. The diode 27 or the diode 28 emits a light when the operation of the button 16 is validated, and the button 16 is made to turn on. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
