PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless monitoring system having a wide range of detection area without increasing the load on a master unit. SOLUTION: The wireless monitoring system constitutes a communication network (A) of wireless monitoring cameras (200<SB>1</SB>-200<SB>3</SB>), wireless sensors having wireless communication function (210<SB>1</SB>-210<SB>3</SB>, 220<SB>1</SB>-220<SB>3</SB>, 230<SB>1</SB>-230<SB>3</SB>, 300<SB>1</SB>-300<SB>3</SB>), and a master unit (100) for recognizing images photographed by the wireless monitoring cameras and information detected by the wireless sensors at a place remote from the communication function. The wireless sensors are arranged around the wireless monitoring cameras and wireless communication networks (B-D) are constituted between the wireless sensors and the wireless monitoring cameras independently from the communication network (A).
