PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing device of a bottomed cylindrical body for manufacturing a bottomed cylindrical body for an electron gun equipped with a protruded part for electron emission without losing production efficiency. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of the bottomed cylindrical body for the electron gun with a protruded part formed for electron emission is provided with a die with a hole for inserting a cylindrical cathode sleeve into and a recess corresponding to the shape of the protruded part formed at a bottom part of the hole, and a mandrel for crimping a circular disc to an inner wall of the cathode sleeve and forming the protruded part on the disc by pressurizing the disc loaded on the bottom part of the hole by being inserted from another end into the inside of the sleeve inserted into the hole.
