PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance transportation efficiency of an automatic transportation apparatus while suppressing costs. SOLUTION: Each of automatic transportation vehicles 2a, 2b acquires pieces of transfer route information of other automatic transportation vehicles 2a, 2b, transfer route generation means 4a, 4b judge whether or not a planned course of the present vehicle is hindered by a planned course of the other vehicle by collating pieces of the transfer route information of the other vehicles 2a, 2b with the transfer route information of the present vehicle and when the planned course of the present vehicle is hindered by the planned course of the other vehicle, change the transfer route information.
