PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reciprocation device reduced in the number of parts of drive machinery, easy to control operation and excellent in rapidity. SOLUTION: The reciprocation device B has a follower block 42 for reciprocating movement in the first direction N1 and a drive source 40 for reciprocating a drive block 41 in the second direction N2 crossing the first direction N1 while supporting the same on a support part 44. Cam surfaces 45a and 45b inclined with respect to the second direction N2 so as to move the follower block 42 in the first direction N1 by the movement of the drive block 41 are provided to at least one of the drive block 41 and the follower block 42 and the pressure receiving surface 46a smaller in the inclination with respect to the second direction N2 than the cam surfaces 45a and 45b is formed to the drive block 41. The first attitude wherein the drive block 41 and the follower block 42 come into contact with the pressure receiving surface 46a and the second attitude wherein they come into contact with the cam surfaces 45a and 45b are freely changed over by the reciprocating movement of the drive block 41.
