PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce an unsaturated tertiary amine in high yield according to simple operation in a short time without requiring a special reaction apparatus. SOLUTION: A method for producing the unsaturated tertiary amine is carried out by reacting a halogenated methylstyrene with an aqueous solution of a dialkylamine in the presence of a phase transfer catalyst in a two-phase system.
