PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device that prevents the occurrence of display irregularity and bubbles unlike the conventional liquid crystal display device in which the device is formed as a solid body and the utilization is limited and thin glass substrates are newly used for array substrates and opposing substrates to realize a flexible liquid crystal display device resulting in the occurrence of display irregularity caused by fluctuation in gaps among substrates at a liquid crystal center portion due to opposing stress being applied to the substrates while the substrates are bent and the occurrence of bubbles as temperature varies. SOLUTION: Spacers 15 arranged between the array substrate 20 and the opposing substrate 21 are distributed so that the distribution density or the contact area per unit area at the center portion are made larger compared with the peripheral portions in the bending direction.
