The organic light emitting device has a substrate (41). A lower electrode (43) is formed on a surface of the substrate. An organic layer (45) including an organic emission layer is formed on a surface of the lower electrode to emit light of a first color. A counter electrode (47) is formed on the surface of the organic layer. A sealing layer (49) covers the organic layer and the counter electrode. The counter electrode is transparent. A color conversion layer (40) is provided on the inner side of the sealing layer. This converts a component of light having the first color into light of a second color and light of a third color. |
