<p>The drive for the cylinders (2,6,7,11,12) of a printing press comprises several drive motors (16,19,21,24,26). At least two of the drive motors for the cylinders are offset axially from each other. These drive motors may be those of two cylinders which act directly with each other. The length of the offset of the second drive motor amounts to at least the length of a drive motor. All the drive motors may be on the same side of the printing press.</p> |
