The tread board for tree felling has two longitudinally extending planks (2) each with a support face. The long ends of the planks have a support section with a projecting tip (24) perpendicular to the support faces at one side of the planks. Each plank has a projecting spike (25) extending downwardly on the other side. the planks support a platform.
