<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure the user that a printing process is finished within a fixed printing time by finishing a fixed printing sequence by a printer without delay even when communication is made by any effective communication rate with the use of any communication carrier between a data processing device and the printer. <P>SOLUTION: The printer 1 measures a communication rate and a communication state, and notifies a server 2 via a mobile communication device 3 and a communication medium 7 of communication state information related to the communication rate and the communication state, and printing related information related to a time required for printing and a printing mode. The server 2 processes printing information on the basis of the communication state information related to the communication rate and the communication state transmitted from the printer 1, and the printing related information related to the time required for printing and the printing mode to a data size whereby printing can be finished in a fixed time at the printer 1.
