<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a developing device (2) constituted of a developing device body (49) and a toner container (6) which is attached to the developing device body (49) and is provided with a toner conveyance mechanism (156), so as to stably supply toner regardless of the remaining quantity of toner stored in the toner container. <P>SOLUTION: A circulating route for developer is prescribed in a developing chamber (14) arranged in the developing device body. A toner reception opening (52) is formed which is placed above a toner reception area in the circulating route, and a specific area (50) is formed where a conveying capability of a first rotating helical blade member (30a) being a developer stirring and conveying means is locally reduced in the downstream side of the toner reception area. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
