<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a separator for a fuel cell capable of saving time and labor by simplifying an assembling process and a welding process of the separator for the fuel cell with a large area molded by press molding, and capable of enhancing welding quality and a yield by reducing welding defects. <P>SOLUTION: The method comprises processes of (1) cutting each component in a prescribed shape, while leaving an outer edge cutting allowance 22 for cutting outer edges of a center plate and an anode mask in prescribed shapes, and leaving a corresponding plurality of through-holes for cathode gas 16 and through-holes for anode gas 17 without processing them as manifold cutting allowances 23, (2) molding pressing each component in a prescribed shape, (3) assembling each component by superposing them, (4) welding the outer periphery A of a separator, inner ends B of the through-holes for the anode gas 17, and inner ends C of the through-holes for the cathode gas 16 of each component; and (5) finish-cutting for cutting and removing the outer edge cutting allowances 22 and the manifold cutting allowances 23. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
