摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information display device which switches input images of a PDP (plasma display panel) at resetting of a display controller correspondingly to the change of the machine type of the PDP without changing the program of a monitor device by solving the problem that the conventional information display device is inconvenient because an input image switching command is different by machine types of PDP and it is necessary to change the program of the monitor device every time of changing the machine type.

SOLUTION: In the information display device, a display controller 1 generates a PDP information file comprising communication conditions required for communication to a PDP3 and parameters such as communication commands and transmits the file to a monitor device 2, and a data transmission/reception part 21 of the monitor device 2 sets parameters for control of the PDP 3 on the basis of the received PDP information file, and the data transmission/reception part 21 transmits commands in a designated communication condition in accordance with set parameters to control the PDP 3 when a display controller monitor part 22 detects abnormality of the display controller 1.
