PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the workability of aligning job of optical fibers when a plurality of optical fibers are partially shaped into a tape.

SOLUTION: The method of the partial tape-shaping is characterized by the fact that the plurality of optical fibers 10 are inserted into the optical fiber insertion space 7 of a film-shaped member 1 which is so composed that the plurality of optical fibers 10 are aligned, and the inserted optical fibers 10 are bonded to an adhesive layer 4. Further, the partially tape-shaped optical fiber is characterized by the fact that the plurality of optical fibers 10 are aligned, covered with the film-shaped member 1 in the form of a tape, and bonded with the adhesive layer 4.
