PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flame sensor capable of indicating the magnitude of detection output, even when using a pyroelectric body. SOLUTION: As a detecting element, the infrared flame sensor is provided with the pyroelectric body, in which a plurality of pairs of electrodes are divided and mounted. Discrimination of detection is performed in each of the electrode pairs. It is possible to indicate the magnitude of output according to the detected number, and to output the infrared detection stepwise. The plurality of pairs of electrodes are formed concentrically. An infrared lens or a pinhole lens for condensing infrared rays and a narrow band pass filter for transmitting infrared rays having a CO2 resonance band are provided, in the front surfaces of the plurality of pairs of electrode.
