<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner installable on the wall surface upper part of a small room with a small floor space, installable in a small installation space without becoming an obstruction, and capable of providing comfortable air conditioning on the spot from the upper side. <P>SOLUTION: Suction ports 6 and 7 and an outlet port 8 are provided in a casing 2 of such a shape and size that can be installed on the wall surface S upper part of small rooms R with small floor spaces such as a washroom, sanitary room, or toilet. A compressor 9, an evaporator 11, a condenser 12, the other one set of refrigerating cycle components, and a blower 13 are stored in the casing. The evaporator as a part of a heat exchanger disposed in an air feed passage formed by driving the blower exchanges heat with indoor air. The condenser as a part of the heat exchanger cuts out the flow of indoor air led into the air blow passage and exchanges heat with a heat exchanging water led to the heat exchange portion thereof. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
