<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a synchronous generator along with a refrigerator car using the same capable of suppressing the overshoot amount of a generated voltage by raising a falling speed of an exciting current. <P>SOLUTION: The synchronous generator comprises a field coil which is excited by a DC, and converts to an AC by receiving a mechanical power and supplies it to a load. It comprises a means (5) that is connected in series to a field coil (2) and adjusts a field voltage by switching operation; a means (31, 36, and 37) that detects cutting off of the load; and means (22 and 24) which cut off a voltage supply path to the field coil when cutting off of the load is detected, and connect a capacitor (21) in series to the field coil to form a reflux path of the current flowing the field coil. The refrigerator car drives the compressor of a refrigeration cycle with the synchronous generator as a drive source to cool a freezer/chiller. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
