PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a model tooth insertion device for dentistry practice having structure in which the fixing force of the model tooth is hardly decreased even when the putting-on and the removing of the model tooth is repeated. SOLUTION: A sphere housing part 4 is provided in a direction substantially normal to the inside wall face of an insertion hole at the part of the insertion hole provided in an model tooth base 3. In the inside of the housing part 4, a sphere 5 which can move by being energized in the direction of a tooth root part side by an energizing means 6 is housed in a state in which a part of the sphere is projected from the inside wall of the insertion hole. A dimple 2 corresponding to the projected part of the sphere is formed at the side wall part of the tooth root part 1b of the model tooth 1. When inserting the model tooth, the projected part of the sphere is held in the dimple and the model tooth can be fixed and when the model tooth is pulled up, the sphere retreats against the energizing means and the model tooth can be pulled out. In this case, a coil spring is desirable as the energizing means and it is preferred that the sphere is positioned so that a part corresponding to 1/10 to 1/3 of the diameter of the sphere is projected from the inside wall face of the insertion hole.
