摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a dazzlement by the light of a back light on a liquid-crystal display screen in the case of an image pick-up. SOLUTION: A portable telephone 100 has a image pick-up means 24 image-picking up a subject, an optical finder 14 determining an image-pick-up region by the means 24 and a display section 12 being mounted on the ocular section 14a side peeping the optical finder 14 and having the back light. The portable telephone 100 has a detecting means 30 detecting the presence of the use of the finder 14 and a back-light control means 21 controlling the switch-on and switch-off of the back light on the display section 12 on the basis of the detection result of the detecting means 30.
