PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk changer device in which a rewriting function of a DVD being rewritable can be displayed sufficiently. SOLUTION: This disk changer device is constituted of a disk changer consisting of a disk housing part and a disk drive, a recording/play back section, an AV signal input/output processing section, a control section, and a hard disk drive HDD. When it is discriminated that writing operation for recording, erasing, and editing for a removable disk recording medium is performed, the control section performs writing processing for recording, erasing, and editing for a removable disk recording medium, successively, updates control information on the removable disk recording medium , and updates control information of the removable disk recording medium in the HDD.
