GRATING FOR COLLECTING WATER, AND DRAINAGE STRUCTURE USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grating for collecting water for increasing drainage performance while effectively maintaining traffic safety by allowing the water flowing on the water flow surface of a road, to appropriately fall downward while preventing the formation of step difference. SOLUTION: This grating 1 for collecting water is provided with a guide member 20 having a water guide surface 19 inclining larger than the longitudinal section gradient of the water flow surface 6 of the road; a cross member 22 disposed downstream of the guide member 20 in the state of interposing a water collecting passage 23 of downward open shape and extending in a cross direction while having an upper edge surface 22A positioned higher than the downstream part of the guide member 20; and a plurality of bottom raising ribs 24 for connecting both members 20, 22 to each other to fill the height difference between the water guide surface of the guide member 20 and the upper edge surface 22A of the cross member 22.
