PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical head device for efficiently suppressing the resonance of a lens holder and reducing the weight of the lens holder. SOLUTION: In a lens holder 3 of an optical head device 1, a lens holding portion 35 is projected from a coil holding portion 31 for holding driving coils 4, 5 and the lens holding portion 35 is reduced in thickness. The lens holding portion 35 is shaped like a ring so as to concentrate vibrations to vibrations in a focusing direction, the vibrations are suppressed by a first vibration absorbing member 11. Ribs are eliminated from the lens holding portion 35 so as to concentrate vibrations to vibrations in a tracking direction, the vibrations are suppressed by a second vibration absorbing member 12.
