PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording tape cartridge always stabilized and accumulated while securing a label area. SOLUTION: The recording tape cartridge 10 is provided with a nearly rectangular shaped case 12 which accommodates rotatably a single reel 14 on which a recording tape T is wound and loaded; a recessed section 13 formed on a top view of the case 12; and a stacking rib 15 which is arranged at a lower surface of the case 12 in a standing condition and engages to a recessed part 13 when the case 12 is stacked. A protrusion section 60 specifying a label area is formed at a position in which the stacking rib 15 in the recessed section 13 does not interfere. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
