PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reception tool device extended in general use receiving a work having various kinds of projected/recessed shapes and a curved shape and holding the work well. SOLUTION: A large number of support pins are vertically slidably provided movably in a row direction in a casing 1 in parallel while forming a plurality of rows in the standing state. A coil spring for upwardly urging the support pins is disposed below the respective support pins. A friction plate is interposed between the support pins of the respective support pin rows in the state that it is movably provided in a forward/rearward direction and movement in the vertical direction is restricted. A lock mechanism 10 for pressing the support pin rows in the forward/rearward direction of the row and locking the respective support pins is disposed at an end of the respective support pin rows.
