PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a centrifugal filtration method capable of preventing secondary pollution due to adhesion of a solid-liquid mixture to a solid cake at the time of recovering the solid cake. SOLUTION: For the purpose to wash out raw liquid adhering to a hopper, on completion of the S30 process, a cake washing process of supplying a washing solution such as distilled water or the like to a basket for a prescribed duration (S40) is carried out and then after the supply of the washing solution such as distilled water is stopped, a dewatering step for the solid cake is carried out (S50). Accordingly, the raw liquid adhering to a hopper can be washed out before the solid cake is scraped and thus the solid cake is prevented from second pollution. After that, a basket is controlled (stopped) (S60), the operation mode is changed to the solid cake recovery state by a discharge switching apparatus and a cake discharge pipe is joined to a discharge outlet (S65).
