PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system in which adverse influence by backward scattering light and stray light is reduced and positioning between an image sensor and a lens system is improved. SOLUTION: The subject device and the system including an optical head assembly and a dome, and using methods therefor are provided. The optical head assembly includes a lighting part and an imaging part and are set backward the dome. The optical system is also preferably assembled in the dome. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
