PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce air consumption and to reduce noise and pollution at the same time. SOLUTION: The invention relates to a method that comprises transfer of articles 15 from a first conveying dram 10 to a second conveying dram 20, in conveying rod shaped articles 15 in tobacco-processing industry, especially for conveying cigarettes.
