<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultraviolet-curing white ink composition for inkjet recording with stable discharge exhibiting excellent easily observable printed effect on a black or dark surface. <P>SOLUTION: The ultraviolet-curing white ink composition is composed of a titanium oxide surface-treated with comparatively a larger amount of silica and a smaller amount of alumina, a polymer dispersing agent having a basic polar group as an adsorbing group, an ultraviolet-curing composition and a photopolymerization initiator.
