MANUFACTURING METHOD FOR RFeB MAGNET POWDER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production unit for RFeB magnet powder which is capable of uniformizing the temperature of magnet material in hydrotreating and is advantageous for the avoidance of variation in magnetic property.

SOLUTION: A manufacturing method for RFeB magnet powder for a permanent magnet is such that: even after RFeB magnet material is hydrotreated, RFeB magnet powder excellent in magnetic property is obtained. The method comprises the steps of: dividing the RFeB magnet material into 0.5 to 5 kg per reaction tube and filling the RFeB magnet material into a plurality of spaced reaction tubes; heating the RFeB magnet material in the reaction tubes and causing it to occulude hydrogen; and heating the RFeB magnet material and causing it to discharge hydrogen.
