摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively utilize a resource by supporting a variety of QoS (quality of service) in a radio communication system. <P>SOLUTION: With regard to a maximum allowable delay and a reception error rate as a requested value for the QoS, the communication system is mixed with a first mobile station group of which the maximum allowable delay is shorter than a reference value and the reception error rate is not lower than a reference value and a second mobile station group of which the maximum allowable delay is not shorter than the reference value and the reception error rate is lower than the reference value. A base station sets transmission power margins to mobile stations in the first mobile station group higher than that of mobile stations in the second station group. The mobile stations in the first mobil station group are set to have the transmission power margins higher than that of the mobile stations in the second mobile station group. In a radio communication system in which data re-sending is allowed, a base station increases transmission power margins in association with an increase in the number of data re-sending times in the outgoing direction, and mobile stations increase transmission power margins in association with an increase in the number of data re-sending times in the incoming direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p>
