HEAT EXCHANGER FOR WATER HEATER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat exchanger for a water heater for preventing the deterioration in heat exchange performance, and inexpensively allowing coping in the heat exchanger housed in a duct. SOLUTION: This heat exchanger for the water heater is installed in the duct 14 for flowing combustion gas exchanged in heat by a primary heat exchanger 20; interposes a fin 130 between mutually adjacent parts; has a tube 110 laminated in a plurality and a reinforcing plate 160 arranged on both outermost sides in the laminating direction of the tube 110; and secondarily exchanges heat between the combustion gas and supply hot water flowing in the tube 110. At least a part of an external shape of the reinforcing plate 160 is formed larger than an external shape of the tube 110, and an installing hole 161 or an installing screw is arranged in an area outside of the tube 110 of the reinforcing plate 160.
