PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermosetting metallic powder coating composition. SOLUTION: The thermosetting metallic powder coating composition is a mixture of a thermosetting metallic powder coating and an aluminum pigment. The average particle size of the thermosetting metallic powder coating is 1.5-8 times larger than that of the aluminum pigment and is 40-100μm. The aluminum pigment is bonded on the surface of the powder coating. The method for forming a metallic powder coating film comprises coating the thermosetting metallic powder coating composition after a powder coating primer is coated and baking the coating film.
