PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a powder bag opener which can automatically and successively clean a powder bag filled with stock such as powder/fine granules and sealed on its surface, form a cutter line (open the bag), discharge the stock, and dispose of the empty bag. SOLUTION: The opener for the powder bag 1 consists of: a bag shaping part 3 capable of blowing off, by jetting air, dust attaching to the surface of the powder bag 1 filled with the stock such as powder/fine granules to be sealed with its carrying direction determined and also shaping its external shape; a conveyer 4 for sending the powder bag 1 which has passed through the bag shaping part 3 to a next process; a bag opening part 5 for opening the lower surface of the powder bag 1 in an X-shape; and a discharging part 6 for discharging the stock from the opened powder bag 1. The conveyer 4 has a scraper 20 for sending the powder bag 1 after shaping to the bag opening part 5 and a scraper 21 for sending the opened bag 1 to the discharging part 6, and also has a scraper 22 for sending the empty bag after discharging the stock to the outside. Since the dust is thus sucked into an external dust collector, the powder bag 1 can be sent to the next process in a clean state. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
