PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rim capable of surely preventing damage to a flap caused by heat of a brake, and capable of being easily manufactured. SOLUTION: In the rim 10, a part other than a part of a valve hole 12 into which an air valve 28 is inserted is buried from a rim inner surface side by a protrusion 14A of a valve hole closing member 14. Thereby, the flap 26 is prevented from being protruded to the rim inner surface side from the valve hole 12, and a puncture caused by expansion of the flap 26 can be surely prevented. The valve hole closing member 14 can be easily attached by a bolt 22 after assembling the rim. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
