PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a food storage the oxygen concentration in which is hardly changed. SOLUTION: The food storage has an oxygen pump 8 for removing the oxygen in a food storage chamber 7, and the storage chamber 7 and one or more temporary storage chambers 6a and 6b communicating therewith, obtained by dividing the interior of a storage body 1 with openable partitions 5a and 5b. When a food is taken in or out, the storage chamber 7 is opened after the food is temporarily stored in the temporary storage chambers 6a and 6b to reduce the change of the oxygen concentration.
