The invention relates to the specific use of a pure enantiomer of 2-hydroxy-4- [3-hydroxy-3- (5,6,7,8tetrahydro-5,5,8,8tetramethyl-2-naphthyl)-1propynyl] benzoic acid in the S (+) configuration, of formula (I) below: or one of its salts, for preparing a pharmaceutical composition intended for use in human and/or veterinary medicine.
