<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an animal capable of being utilized as a model for a pathlogic condition of disease, such as obesity, and capable of being used in clarifying a mechanism of the pathologic condition, examining a therapeutic means for the disease, and screening prophylactics/remedies for the disease. <P>SOLUTION: This gene-introduced non-human mammal has a DNA into which an alien human SLT gene or a variant gene thereof is integrated.
